Yamaha has also been producing generators since 1973. This has allowed them plenty of time to perfect their 4-stroke engines. Yamaha complies with Japan’s emissions regulations as it also strives for sustainability.
Both produce quality generators that are great for traveling and easy to transport. There is no clear winner between these brands.
The power output of an inverter generator is a crucial consideration. If it is less than you need, you may be better off with a bigger generator. Or you can buy two to meet your needs.

The Honda inverter generator emits a mere 47 dB (A) at ¼ load. And the rated load produces around 57 dB (A), which is very quiet.

Can a Honda EU2200i be used in the rain?
